• Andar bene, benissimo, alla perfezione; essere molto adatto, prestarsi benissimo a qualcosa. Anche piacere moltissimo, risultare molto gradito.L’origine della locuzione è davvero incerta, per alcuni deriva da come il fagiolo si stacca dalla pianta. Infatti nel passato il legume veniva raccolto molto maturo quasi marcio per cui con un semplice tocco cadeva esattamente nel cesto posto al disotto dai raccoglitori.
E' molto probabile che il detto “cadere a fagiolo” possa avere un’origine legata al diffusissimo gioco della tombola. I fagioli spesso usati per riempire le caselle, diventano un evento legato alla fortuna, al gioco, ed alla convivialità
